Uzbekistan adopts measures to improve work of CROs
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution “On additional measures on improving activities of the civilian registrar's offices”.

The document was adopted for further improvement of activity of the civilian registrar's offices (CROs) and creation of favourble conditions for receiving quality legal assistance of the citizens.

The Government approved a regulation on order of determining number of workers of the civilian registrar's offices, which came into force from 1 January 2012.

Number of workers of civilian registrar's offices will be determined by the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan after agreeing it with the Ministry of Finance once a year.

The resolution said that expenses of civilian registrar's offices for payment of work of employees (excluding payments for ranks and long service) will be covered by the state budget.

Each civilian registrar's office will have head and inspector of the first category and head and two registrars for archive department.

The document said that one inspector is allocated for territories with population number between 50,000 to 100,000, two inspectors – for over 150,000 people, 3 inspectors – from 150,000 to 200,000 people and 4 inspectors – for over 200,000 people.

When there are four inspectors at civilian registrar's office, than two of them should be inspectors of the first category.
