Uzbekistan abolishes quotas for Umruh

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan has made changes and amendments into resolution “On measures to further improve the organization and conduct of “Hajj” and “Umrah”.

According to the amendments, now an unlimited number of citizens of Uzbekistan can perform the “Umrah” rite. Thereby, the quota on “Umru” was canceled.

It should be noted that the Umrah quota for the citizens of Uzbekistan in 2018 was 10,000 people.
