Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 December, a memorandum of cooperation and interaction was signed between the Uzbekfilm film studio and Lenfilm.

The memorandum fixed on paper the steps to establish partnerships and develop long-term, effective and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two largest film studios in Russia and the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of equality, respect and trust.

This document is aimed at joint participation in projects, festivals, film markets, conferences, seminars on issues of production, creativity, and innovation.

“We are ready to work with colleagues from Uzbekfilm on co-production and are already considering possible joint projects, including in children’s and youth and family films. I am sure we will be able to shoot wonderful joint fairy tales, for example.

In addition, our cooperation has good prospects for the exchange of experience in the field of film production. I am sure that in the near future we will already get a good result of our friendship and joint activities,” Fedor Shcherbakov said.
