Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2024, JSC "Uzbekcoal" achieved a record-breaking milestone, exceeding 6.7 million tons of coal production for the first time.

This significant accomplishment was largely driven by contributions from its branches: the Angren Coal Deposit (over 5.5 million tons), the Apartak Coal Deposit (over 1.2 million tons), and the Underground Coal Mining Shaft.

The production figures represent a substantial increase compared to previous years: 3.8076 million tons in 2019, 3.8694 million tons in 2020, 4.7812 million tons in 2021, 5.0739 million tons in 2022 and 5.8360 million tons in 2023.

This growth highlights the company’s progress in boosting coal extraction to meet increasing demand.
