The tournament was held in Bangkok, Thailand. Uzbekistan’s team members Bektemir Melikuziev (-69 kg) and Kozimbek Mardonov (-75 kg) defeated all opponents to win gold medals.

Abdulhak Shorahmetov (-52 kg), Mahmud Gaipov (-64 kg), Azizbek Shukurov (-81 kg) and Asilbek Soliev (-91 kg) won silver medals, after they lost their final bouts.

Fazliddin Meliboev (-60 kg) and Shahruhbek Erkinov (-91 kg) clinched bronze medals of the continental tournament.
