A delegation representing the Business Women’s Association and contractors in the city of Tashkent, Uzbekistan is currently on a visit to Jordan, hosted by the Jordanian Business Women Forum, to explore business environment in the country.
Chairman of the forum Wejdan al-Talhuni al-Saket said the delegation comprises of 12 women who running economic organizations and businesses in Tashkent. The forum hosts the visit in response the Uzbek women desire to get a first hand look on business activities in the Kingdom, Saket said in a statement to Petra.
The delegation members will meet Prime Minister and other officials from the private and public sectors and will be visiting a number of factories and economic and financial facilities as well as Jordanian universities, Saket said.
During their visit the Uzbek women will open talks with their Jordanian counterparts on opportunities for future cooperation. They will also tour a number of historical and cultural landmarks in the kingdom.
