As earlier reported, Vladimir Norov is paying visit to Ukrainian capital to attend inauguration ceremony of newly elected President Victor Yanukovich.

The sides considered issues of boosting bilateral political dialogue, including the visit of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov to Kiev in 2010 and Petr Poroshenko to Tashkent.

The ministers also discussed issues of holding political consultations at the level of deputy foreign ministers and the 8th session of intergovernmental commission.

The officials also discussed cooperation in trade-economic sphere and agreed to continue contacts between foreign political bodies of Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
