The seminar participants spoke in favor of more extensive experience sharing in the spheres of seed-farming, selection and protection of farm crops, Turkmenistan.ru reports.

Issues of cooperation in this sphere were discussed at a meeting between Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and co-chairman of the Turkmen-Uzbek intergovernmental commission, minister of foreign economic relations, investments and trade of Uzbekistan Eler Ganiyev and minister of economy Batir Hojayev. According to the Turkmen State News Service (TDH), at the meeting the president of Turkmenistan emphasized the need to use the Uzbek partners’ agricultural experience as well as the possibility of purchasing Uzbek farm equipment which is highly competitive with best international brands.

The Uzbek delegation members who attended the seminar said they would leave specimens of Uzbek tractors displayed at the exhibition for testing in the soil-climatic conditions of Turkmenistan. It should be recalled that Uzbekistan largest farm equipment plants such as OAO Tashkent Tractor Plant, JV Agrhim, OAO Uzpahtamash, Aggregate Plant, Tashselmash, Uzselmash, Chirchikselmash displayed their products at the exhibition.
