According to the company, the sector provided services to over 1.06 million tourists in January-September 2013.

In the reporting period of 2012, the volume of rendered tourism services made up 169.6 billion soums. The sector rendered services for 909,300 people.

The company said that the growth of exported services made up 29.9% as number of tourists increased and they purchased additional food and consumer goods

Uzbektourim said it is planning to implement several measures to increase number of tourists inflow. It is planned to organize advertisement campaigns abroad, disseminate information through embassies of Uzbekistan, participate in international tourism exhibitions.

Uzbektourism is planning to consider to launch an advertisement campaign at Euronews TV channel.
