The Uzbek delegation held negotiations with representatives of producers of machineries as Van de Wiele, Picanol Group, Bonas and exploitation of them.

The report said the Belgian side praised professional level and concrete interest of the Uzbek delegation. It added that the Belgian side is studying industrial development of Uzbekistan, which has great potential in carpet and textile industry.

Vice president of Picanol Group, Yan Laga [transliterated], said in interview to Jahon that the Uzbek enterprises achieved high level of production of value added products in textile industry.

President of Van de Wiele Charles Bodiun [transliterated]and manager of company Luk Kunegragt [transliterated] expressed their interest in development of cooperation with the Uzbek carpet producers and the carpet industry has stable demand for machinery.

The agency said the Belgian companies expressed interest in participation in Tashkent textile exhibition in 2008 and opening of their offices in Uzbekistan.
