Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution was adopted on measures to establish joint faculties of foreign higher educational institutions as part of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports.

According to the document, starting from 2019-2020 academic year, the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism will be launched together with the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture.

From 2020/2021 academic year, the joint faculty of physical culture, sport and health will be opened in collaboration with St. Petersburg State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Health.

The document also identified the main tasks of joint faculties.

The amount of the contract for joint faculties is determined in national currency, in agreement with the University and the relevant foreign universities.

Graduates of joint faculties are awarded diplomas recognized as documents on higher education in Uzbekistan and, respectively, in the Republic of Belarus or the Russian Federation.
