Uzbek, Russian presidents hold meeting in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov held a meeting with the Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev on 10 June. Medvedev arrived in the capital of Uzbekistan for a two-day Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit.
The President of Uzbekistan briefed President Medvedev about the preparations for the SCO Council of Heads of State meeting.
The Russian leader expressed his confidence that the Tashkent SCO summit will be interesting, intensive and productive.
