The National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity (NBU) and the Russian Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Activity signed an agreement on long-term economic cooperation and strategic partnership.

The press service of the Uzbek bank said the document was signed by the chairman of the Uzbek national bank’s board of directors, Saidahmad Rahimov, and the chairman of the Russian Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Activity, Vladimir Dmitriyev.

The document is aimed at supporting the development of investment cooperation between the two countries by creating the most favourable conditions for the implementation of joint programmes and projects.
