Uzbek Public Education Ministry, Huawei discuss development of digital education

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting with the Director General of Huawei in Uzbekistan Liu Jiaxing was held at the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, the sides discussed possible areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the field of education.

Liu Jiaxing briefed about the experience of Huawei and its partners in the development of digital education in China and foreign countries.

The parties reviewed the implementation of promising projects in the field of public education. In particular, issues of security in schools and the organization of distance learning, as well as the introduction of an e-learning system using modern technologies were discussed.

Also during the meeting, possible financing models for joint projects, including attracting grants and financial resources, were considered.
