Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan continues its investigation into the criminal case related to the attempted murder of Komil Allamjonov.
During the investigative proceedings, it was established that Russian citizens Bislan Rasaev and Shamil Temirkhanov committed a series of criminal acts.
Rasaev and Temirkhanov have been charged in absentia under relevant articles of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan, and a detention order has been issued for them, alongside an international wanted notice.
Both Rasaev and Temirkhanov have been placed on Interpol’s wanted list, and their information is available on the Interpol website.
Investigative authorities are continuing to work on determining all the circumstances surrounding the crime and holding those responsible accountable.
It is worth recalling that on the night of 26 October, unknown individuals opened fire on a Range Rover vehicle in the Kibray district, which was carrying former presidential administration employee Komil Allamjonov. After the attack, the assailants fled the scene. No one inside the vehicle, including the driver, was harmed.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 97 in conjunction with Article 25 (attempted murder) and Article 248 (illegal arms trafficking) of the Criminal Code.
