Uzbek President congratulates Russian President, PM
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov congratulated leadership of the Russian Federation with the New Year 2012, the press service of the Uzbek leader said.

In his message to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Islam Karimov said: “Please accept my sincere greetings on the New Year 2012! The outgoing year has proved a period of consistent enhancement of traditionally friendly Uzbek-Russian relations built on principles of mutual understanding and confidence.”

“I feel convinced that the process of bilateral and multilateral cooperation will keep gradually and dynamically advancing well into the year 2012 for the good of our two peoples and in the interests of stability and security in the entire region,” the Uzbek head said.

Islam Karimov said: “Taking this pleasant opportunity, I would like to wish a robust health, prosperity and happiness in family to You, esteemed Dmitry Anatolievich, along with progress and wellbeing to the entire people of Russia.”

“Please accept my sincere congratulations on the New Year 2012! I feel confident that the traditionally friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Russia will experience further perceptible development in 2012 in every area of cooperation, and facilitate consolidation of stability and security in the region,” Uzbek President said in his congratulation message to Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

“I wish You, esteemed Vladimir Vladimirovich, to Your family and relatives a sound health, successes and all the best, and kindness and prosperity to the entire people of Russia,” he concluded.
