In his message, the Uzbek leader congratulated Roza Otunbaeva with receiving authorities of the Kyrgyz President in the result of referendum, which took place on 27 June 2010.

Uzbek President also wished peace and consent, stability and prosperity of people of Kyrgyzstan.

Islam Karimov also called to hold investigation of bloody and inhuman events in Osh and Jalalabad regions of Kyrgyzstan with participation of specialists and international experts. He said that investigation will show commonality and unity of interest of Kyrgyz and Uzbek population, who lived together for many centuries.

He expressed hope that investigation will help to show true face of provokers and customers, who are ready to sacrifice thousands of innocent people.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov underlined that wisdom and intellect of Kyrgyz people will give them power to overcome current difficult days.
