An official welcoming ceremony was held at Seoul Airport, UzA reported. The guard of honor was lined up and state flags of two states were raised in honor of the President of Uzbekistan, UzA reported.

The main events of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan, including meetings with President and other officials of South Korea, as well as heads of local firms, are scheduled to 20 and 21 September.

In the result of talks, the sides are planning to issue a Joint Statement and sign a package of documents dedicated to deepening of the Uzbek-South Korean dialogue in priority areas of interaction.
