Uzbek President approves CIS agreement on exchange of information on copyright
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov approved an agreement on cooperation in organization of inter-governmental exchange of information and formation of national data base on intellectual property rights and allied rights.
The agreement was signed at the session of the Council of the heads of the Governments of the CIS member states in Yalta on 20 November 2009.
In line with the presidential resolution, the Agency for Intellectual Property of Uzbekistan was determined as the authorized body, responsible for implementation of the agreement.
Islam Karimov entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to direct notification to depository on execution of internal processes by Uzbekistan, which are necessary for entering into force of the international agreement and on authorized body, responsible for implementation of the agreement.
