The presidential resolution said that the Board of Governors of the IMF adopted resolution No. 66-2 “Fourteenth total review of quota and reform of the Executive Council” from 15 December 2010, which introduces changes and amendments to the articles of agreement of the IMF on reforming Executive Council, which subject to ratification by member states.

The Uzbek leader approved amendments to the articles of the agreement of IMF on reforming Executive Council, approved by the resolution of the IMF Board Governors.

President of Uzbekistan entrusted the First Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov to inform IMF on approval of agreements by Uzbekistan.

Cabinet of Ministers and heads of corresponding ministries and departments were entrusted to execute obligations of Uzbekistan after the amendments come into force.

Islam Karimov entrusted Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev to control execution of the resolution.
