Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan passed the law on 14 November 2011 and Senate approved it on 5 December 2011.

Changes and amendments are directed to improving law, taking into account that development stage of the institute passed and further development of regulation system is needed.

The law expands services on tax consultations. They envisage introduction of taxable objects and objects related with taxation, as well as preparation and submission of tax reports.

The law also introduces new article, which will regulate issues on order and terms of signing agreements on rendering tax consultation services.

In particular, it is planned to expand rights of tax consultation organizations. They are granted right to represent their client in relations, regulated by tax legislation at state tax bodies, as well as settling tax disputes at courts. They also have right to render consulting services on taxation issues during tax inspections.

The law introduces corresponding amendments to expand liabilities of tax consultation organization. The document also introduces changes to norms, which regulate their activities and ensure full control over their operations.

Introduction of changes and amendments will help to ensure execution of requirements over control of activities of certified tax consultants. Tax consultation companies will be obliged to provide information to tax bodies about their certified tax consultants and the volume of rendered services.

The law also includes changes and amendments, directed at developing and introducing national tax consultations standards. Tax consultation organizations are obliged to work in line with these national standards.
