Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan took part in the exhibition-festival of national cuisines organized by the Stockholm Diplomatic Association, Dunyo news agency reported.

Diplomatic missions of Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Japan, Kenya, Latvia, Mexico, Slovakia, Great Britain, Uzbekistan and Australia/New Zealand, accredited in Stockholm, took part in this event.

At the fair, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Sweden presented Uzbek plov, and according to the results of secret voting, it took an honorable first place in the “Best National Dish” category.

Representatives of Uzbekistan took part in this annual exhibition for the second time, and again pilaf was recognized as the best dish at the festival.

The participation of the Uzbek Embassy was warmly received by diplomats, and the national cuisine was generally highly appreciated.

Also during the event, issues of developing the export of Uzbek products to Sweden were discussed with a number of representatives of Swedish business.
