Uzbek pilgrims complete Hajj rite

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Pilgrims from Uzbekistan completed Hajj rites today. Being in Medina and Mecca, Muslims from Uzbekistan visited all holy and historic sights, information service of the Committee on religious affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The commission said that Uzbek pilgrims carried out all Hajj rituals successfully. It added that Uzbek pilgrims prayed for prosperity and peace in Uzbekistan and in the world.

Mufty Usmanhon Alimov read the congratulation of pilgrims to the President Islam Karimov. The message said that Uzbek pilgrims said that independence of Uzbekistan helped Muslims to conduct Hajj and Umrah rites.

The Muslims said that they prayed for peace and tranquility of in the country and in the world, as well as prosperity of Uzbekistan. Uzbek pilgrims wished strong health and long-life to the President of Uzbekistan.

Today, the pilgrims of Uzbekistan completed Hajj rites and returned to their hotels. They will return to Uzbekistan from 20 October to 1 November 2013.
