Uzbek Paralympic team claims 11 medals in Tokyo
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan team recorded 11 medals at the Asian [Youth] Paralympic Games, which took place in Tokyo, Japan. The athletes of Uzbekistan won five gold, three silver and three bronze medals.
Bekzod Khodjayev and Farruh Mirzakulov won two gold medals each in running and long jump.
Muzaffar Rajabov, 100 meter runner, brought gold to Uzbekistan team.
Other runners Oybek Bozorov and Sugun Bekmirzayeva won silver and bronze.
Murod Abbaskhonov (silver medal) and Ghairat Kayumov (bronze) also received medals of the Games, UzA reported.
