Uzbek MPs voice concern over violence in Kyrgyz south
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Legislative Chamber of the Uzbek parliament has held a plenary session. During the session, MPs paid special attention to the events taking place in Kyrgyzstan's south.

MPs of the Legislative Chamber perceived the events taking place in the south of Kyrgyzstan with an extreme alarm and serious worry. Uzbek MPs believe that there are forces behind the events taking place in Kyrgyzstan, whose interests are absolutely far from those of the Kyrgyz people. They are acting in line with a far-reaching plan to stir up an inter-ethnic conflict and destabilize the situation in Kyrgyzstan's south.

The Legislative Chamber's MPs emphasized the importance of taking urgent measures by Kyrgyzstan to avoid the development of the disastrous events and to restore order in the country.

The session also noted the importance of aid sent by Uzbekistan to the conflict area.
