Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A task force from the Migration Agency has conducted an in-depth study of the labor market in Slovakia and organized a series of large-scale meetings with local employers.

During the negotiations, discussions focused on the potential employment of Uzbek citizens in key sectors such as automotive manufacturing, logistics, construction, agriculture, and healthcare.

Employers in Slovakia are offering competitive salaries and decent working conditions.

For example, in the city of Krusovce, leading automotive companies plan to hire production line operators and crane operators. At a major automotive plant in the city of Tirana, the recruitment of crane operators is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year; currently, 120 Uzbek specialists are already employed at the facility.

Recruitment agencies in Bratislava have expressed their readiness to hire Uzbek nationals this year for jobs in automotive manufacturing, construction, and as crane operators.

In addition, large logistics companies in the cities of Sanec and Bardejov are actively recruiting drivers.
