Uzbek masters of art to take part in cultural events in Japan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As we previously reported, Chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva attended the ceremony of ascending the throne of the new Emperor of Japan Naruhito.

The ceremony was attended by members of the imperial family, government and parliament of Japan, as well as the leaders of more than 180 foreign delegations and ambassadors accredited in Tokyo.

During the ceremony at the Imperial Palace, Naruhito ascended the “chrysanthemum throne” and addressed, announcing his ascension to the throne.

On the same day in the evening, a gala banquet was held in the imperial palace in honor of the guests who participated in the ceremony.

The Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan also took part in the international music festival organized by the Committee for the Promotion of Culture “CSPC” with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan.

At the festival, artists from Uzbekistan, Japan, Ukraine and Argentina performed a musical program. In particular, representatives of the Republican Specialized Musical Academic Lyceum named after R. Glier together with Japanese musicians performed Uzbek national melodies like “Tanovar”, “Jeanon Bulaman” and potpourri on the theme of Khorezm songs. At the same time, the Uzbek and Japanese national instruments “doira”, “cos”, “koto”, “shamisen” and “shakuhachi” were used.

The performance of Uzbek and Japanese artists left an unforgettable impression on the guests of the event.

During a conversation with the head of the CSPC music group, the performer of traditional Japanese music and dance, H. Tachibana, an agreement was reached on further cooperation in terms of the participation of Uzbek artists in cultural events in Japan.
