Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov shifted day-off from Saturday 5 December 2009 to Monday 7 December. The Uzbek head signed on 25 November a resolution “On shifting day-off from Saturday 5 December 2009 to Monday 7 December”. In line with the document, Saturday, 5 December, will be working day in the country. The resolution was adopted in line with celebrations of Constitution Day of Uzbekistan and creation of favourable conditions for population’s rest and rational use of working time.
