Uzbek leader receives credentials from foreign envoys
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov received credentials from Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kuwait Halaf Midjbal Buzahir, Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseynov, Ukraine Yuriy Savchenko and Poland Marian Przezdziecki at the Oqsaroy presidential residence on 31 March 2010.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov, receiving credentials, congratulated diplomats with their appointment and wished them success in their mission in Uzbekistan, UzA reported.

Ambassador of Kuwait Halaf Midjbal Buzahir underlined that during his mission to Uzbekistan, he will do all his best for further development of bilateral relations.

Tajik Ambassador Muzaffar Huseynov said that he is planning to make his best to further develop and strengthen bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

Ukrainian envoy Yuriy Savchenko said that Ukraine is interested in further developing political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian relations with Uzbekistan. He said that his activities will focus on use of unused potential and opportunities of two states in boosting bilateral ties.

Polish Ambassador Marian Przezdziecki underlined that Poland and Uzbekistan have all opportunities for effective development of mutual cooperation. He said that his mission will focus on fostering trade-economic relations and increasing bilateral trade turnover.
