The following must be done in line with the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on universal military duty and military service:

1. Citizens who have completed their fixed-term military service are to be transferred to the reserve of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

2. Draft-age Uzbek citizens who are not eligible for deferment of conscription are to be called up for fixed-term military service in April and May 2008.

Citizens who are fit for fixed-term military service and who are not eligible for deferment or exempt from conscription, but who are not being called up for the armed forces during this call-up are to be enlisted in the mobilization call-up reserve.

3. The prime minister of Uzbekistan, [Shavkat] Mirziyoyev, and the secretary of the National Security Council under the Uzbek president, [Murod] Otayev, are to be entrusted with supervising the implementation of this resolution.
