Tajik Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov and the executive secretary of the CIS, Vladimir Rushaylo, are now meeting Uzbek President Islam Karimov, who has arrived in Dushanbe to attend the summit of the CIS heads of state, Tajik Avesta website reported on 5 October.

The Uzbek president will participate in the meeting of the CIS heads of state without the participation of the delegations and then in a plenary session attended by other members of the delegations this afternoon.

One of the issues to be discussed first by participants in the summit is a blueprint for the further development of the CIS.
