The presidential resolution approved agreements between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Turkmenistan on combating crime, on transfer of person, staying at the territory of the state illegally and activity of the border commissioner at the Uzbek-Turkmen State border.

These international agreements were signed on 25 February 2009 in Tashkent city within the official visit of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov to Uzbekistan.

The President of Uzbekistan entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to notify Turkmenistan that necessary internal procedures are implemented to enforce the document.
