The Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP), the Milliy Tiklanish (National Revival) National Democratic Party, and the Adolat (Justice) Social Democratic Party are members of the democratic bloc in the Legislative Chamber. In turn, the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan has announced itself, and is now functioning, as a party of the opposition parliamentary minority.

All four official political parties of Uzbekistan had submitted documents to the Central Electoral Commission for registration of their candidates to the 27 December parliamentary election.

The People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan will take part in the forthcoming parliamentary election with its 135 candidates. The UzLiDeP also submitted documents of its 135 candidates, the report further said.

In turn, the Milliy Tiklanish (National Revival) National Democratic Party of Uzbekistan has put forward 126 candidates and the Adolat (Justice) Social Democratic Party has handed over the documents of its 125 candidates.

All political parties had fulfilled the parliamentary election requirement that 30% of party candidates should be women.
