Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Grand Slam judo tournament held in Abu Dhabi (UAE) has concluded, with Uzbek athletes securing two bronze medals.

In the over 100 kg category, the head of the Uzbekistan national team, Utkirbek Turaboev, won a bronze medal by defeating neutral athlete Tamerlan Bashayev in the bronze medal match. This marks his first medal at such a prestigious level.

Additionally, Mukhiddin Tilovov claimed a bronze medal in the under 66 kg weight category, finishing in third place on the podium.

Thus, the Uzbekistan national team concluded the tournament with two bronze medals.
