Uzbek judokas to take part in Grand Slam tournament in France

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A major judo competition from the Grand Slam series will be held on 8–9 February in Paris (France). This tournament is notable for the fact that the most powerful and experienced judokas from around the world participate in it.

It should be noted that this year the tournament will be played rating points of the Tokyo Olympics. The competition will be attended by 740 judokas from 121 countries, among which there are 15 representatives of Uzbekistan. This morning, the delegation of the national team of Uzbekistan left for France.

The winner of the Olympics in Rio, Dierbek Urazboyev in this tournament on the tatami will be released in the new weight category - 66 kilograms. The full composition of our judokas who will participate in the "Grand Slam":

1st place: 1000 points;

2nd place: 700 points;

3rd place: 500 points;

5th place: 360 points;

7th place: 260 points;

1/16 final: 160 points;

1/32 final: 120 points;

For victory in the first round: 100 points;

For participation: 10 points
