Uzbek Interior Minister receives Chinese envoy

Welcoming the guest Minister of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Matlyubov underlined that Uzbekistan has fruitful relations with China in many spheres – culture, t rade-economic, education, law enforcement and security, fighting crime.

Uzbek minister said that the sides are cooperating in fighting against transnational crimes such as terrorism, drug business and human trafficking.

He said that it is necessary to consolidate efforts to fight these threats. He said that China is reliable partner and ally of Uzbekistan.

Minister of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Matlyubov underlined efficiency of cooperation of law enforcement bodies of two states, including in cooperation in training law enforcement officers.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Uzbekistan Zhang Xiao expressed satisfaction with fruitful cooperation between two nations in various areas, including combating with the crime.

He underlined that law enforcement bodies of China and Uzbekistan established favourable cooperation. He expressed assurance that law enforcement bodies of two states will continue to strengthen and expand cooperation.

At the meeting, the sides considered several issues of mutual interest and issues related to combating crime.
