The sides exchanged opinion on current affairs and perspectives of bilateral cooperation, actual issues of international and regional character of mutual interests.

The sides also considered issues of regional security, situation in Afghanistan, perspectives of cooperation with such organizations as the SCO, CIS and ASEAN.

The parties noted close positions of two countries on actual global problems, including energy security, global financial-economic crisis, as well as water issues in Central Asia.
