The parties noted that the talks between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov opened a new page in bilateral relations in all directions, including in the ICT sphere, the press service of the Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan said.

During the meeting, representatives of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan discussed actual aspects of bilateral relations. The parties considered issues of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in the telecommunications sphere and in training and professional development of personnel.
