Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Development Shukhrat Sadikov met with leaders of Chinese investor companies China South Industries Group Corporation, CITIC Group and Costar Group on 18 June.

The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen the Uzbek-Chinese strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields with the use of information and communication technologies.

Welcoming the guests, the Minister emphasized that this meeting should contribute to the timely and full implementation of the agreements reached during the bilateral summit talks held between the heads of the two states in April of this year in Beijing (PRC) as part of the second International Forum One belt, one way.

It should be noted that the Agreements between the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the companies Huawei, Costar Group and CITIC Group were signed on the fields of the forum.

The meeting discussed practical aspects of the implementation of promising investment projects, such as the “Safe City”, the improvement of the emergency medical care system and the creation of e-health systems, a remote cloud system for processing and storing patient data using artificial intelligence.

The visit of Chinese companies-investors to our country will last until 21 June 2019. During the visit, a number of meetings with relevant ministries and departments are planned to determine future prospects for cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies.
