Six young athletes from Samarkand and Navoi regions represented Uzbekistan. Tahmina Ikramov won a gold medal among participants at the age of 7-8. Shakhzoda Gulyamova won two bronzes at the competition among athletes born in 1999. At the same time, Maftuna Shamsiyava won two gold and a silver medals at the tournament.

Senior coach of Samarkand region Yelena Aslanova said that athletes from Samakand region regularly participate in the tournament. She added that won medals serve as evidence that Uzbekistan pays great attention to development of sports.
