On the eve of these events, Association of Women Football, Futsal and Beach Football of Uzbekistan (UWFA) and Embassy of Germany in Tashkent will organize several events on women football on 23-30 May 2011.

German Bundesliga member FF USV Jena e.V. will visit Qarshi, Samarqand and Tashkent to hold two friendly matched and master classes. The team will also participate at Girls’ Day campaign.

FF USV Jena e.V will visit Qarshi first and will hold friendly match against Sevinch team at Markaziy Stadium in Qarshi on 25 May 2011. On 27 May, German club will hold master class in Samarkand city.

On 28 May 2011, German club will hold final friendly match against Uzbekistan U-20 Women’s team, the Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

Within the Girls’ Day, FF USV Jena e.V in cooperation will local clubs will hold various events for local girls in all three cities, including controlling matches, training, cultural events, etc. UWFA will also hand over sport inventory to local women clubs.
