Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, Embassy of France in Uzbekistan, National Oncologic Center of Uzbekistan, “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association, Public Fund Ibn Sino and Association of Medical Establishments of Creteil (France) organized the seminar.

At the seminar, the participants considered oncology service system of Uzbekistan, reforms in the sector, legal framework and standards for diagnosis and treatment of oncology diseases, etc.

It was noted that Uzbekistan creates radiology departments under regional oncology clinics and works on attracting resources to equip them.

The participants also discussed issues of treatment of cancer diseases I Uzbekistan and France, as well as exchanged experience in master-classes, held on 9 October.
