Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan warned about the risks of entering Kazakhstan due to abnormally low temperatures in the neighboring country.
“In connection with the abnormally low temperatures established in certain regions of Kazakhstan, the Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan draws the attention of Uzbek citizens to the need to take into account risks, when entering this country, determining vehicles, especially in the northern regions, as well as during transit to Russia on buses or other types of road transport,” the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
According to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan, due to the extreme cold, the Astana-Petropavlovsk highway of republican significance is closed to motor vehicles, and the local population is advised not to travel.
