Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan held a meeting with President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

During the conversation, the Uzbek diplomat conveyed warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The two sides discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on expanding trade and economic ties, strengthening transport connectivity, and deepening humanitarian exchanges.

The minister reiterated Uzbekistan’s commitment to further strengthening its partnership with China, noting the special importance of collaboration within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). “We reaffirm our dedication to enhancing cooperation under the SCO to ensure prosperity for all member states and to promote regional stability and progress,” stated Bakhtiyor Saidov.
