Uzbek FM to participate at the SCO summit

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov will participate at the session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Cholpan-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, on 12-13 July 2013.

Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will consider issues related to the upcoming summit of the Council of heads of the states of the SCO and exchange opinion on actual international and regional issues.

They will also discuss current state of the SCO and further cooperation within the organization. Ministers will also agree all necessary documents to the upcoming summit of the heads of the states of the SCO, which will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on 13 September 2013.

In particular, they will consider draft of Bishkek declaration of the SCO heads of state and action plan for 2013-2017 on realization of the agreement on long-term good neighbourhood, friendship and cooperation among the SCO states from 2007.
