Uzbek FM receives outgoing Belarusian envoy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan Igor Sokol, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan, on 23 September 2013.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the sides discussed actual bilateral relations.

The Uzbek side underlined personal contribution of the Ambassador to strengthening mutual beneficial Uzbek-Belarusian cooperation.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko appointed new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan on 10 September 2013.

According to the decision of the President of Belarus, Nikolai Klakevich has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan.
