Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi.
“The agenda of the second meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Strategic Dialogue “Central Asia - Gulf Cooperation Council” includes a wide range of topical issues aimed at opening new areas of partnership, as well as the progress of preparations for the upcoming Samarkand Summit of the Strategic Dialogue in 2025,” the Uzbek minister said.
“Since ancient times, our regions have been firmly connected by close trade relations, common values and traditions, and most importantly, our sacred religion Islam,” the head of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan noted in his telegram channel.
