Uzbek FM Meets with Leading Japanese Companies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with representatives of leading Japanese companies.

The meeting, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, included participants from JICA, JETRO, and major Japanese corporations such as Sumitomo Corporation, ITOCHU Corporation, Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Marubeni Corporation, MITSUI & Co, Mitsubishi Corporation, and Sojitz Corporation.

The parties discussed expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in light of ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, as well as opportunities to introduce advanced technologies and best practices from Japanese companies.

Key topics of the discussions included finding effective solutions to existing challenges, creating the most favorable conditions for business, and enhancing practical collaboration between the two countries.
