Uzbek FM holds meetings in New York

Within the session, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held bilateral meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Kristian Vigenin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, the US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan James F. Dobbins, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maia Panjikidze, the US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert Blake, Senior Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Minister for Faith and Communities Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Kohout and the UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman.

At the meeting, the sides discussed actual aspects of bilateral relations, issues of interaction within the UN and its agencies. The sides also exchanged opinion on regional and international issues.
