During the meeting, the sides reached agreement to develop and sign a programme on measures in culture, art and sports. They noted that there are great potential in establishing contacts in tourism and rest of schoolchildren at resorts in Uzbekistan and Ukraine.

Ukrainian envoy expressed hope to establish active relations in museum sector of two states, in particular with State Art Museum named after Savitsky in Nukus, which have several works of Ukrainian painters.

Yuriy Savchenko said that the meeting was fruitful and he pins great hope to it. He said that the sides should improve relations in cultural-humanitarian and sport areas. He underlined that Ukraine wants to include its representatives to next Sharq Taronalari. Ukrainian envoy added that the sides also agreed to cooperate in sports.
